“From a biblical perspective, should we truly rejoice over the death of an enemy?”

mmm…is justice on earth the same as God’s justice? Is it relative? Is there an absolute?

Have we taken the standard of justice and tainted because of our flawed nature?
…
If that is the case, then should we also question the justice that is rendered via our justice system ie. incarceration, capital punishment, legal procedures etc?

If we are to be good stewards here on Earth, does the governmental procedures and system that we put in place reflect the standards that God has laid out in His word and if so, what is the definitive standards that we should idealistically build our nation upon?
